About implementation of physics approach to dynamic systems simulation

V. M. Shpakov

St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of RAS
Abstract: Advantages of a physics approach to dynamic systems simulation are discussed. A great need for the approach at the modern state of system engineering is pointed out. In particular, such an approach may be useful for simulation of control and self-organizing systems. A situation-event formalism of an interacting hybrid process specification is briefly stated and some ways of its use for physic simulation model implementation are shown. Facilities of the considered methods are illustrated by examples of some simple dynamic system models implementations.
Keywords: computer simulation, system dynamic, hybrid automaton, transitive model, situation-event approach.
