Situational approach to hybrid processes coordination

V. M. Shpakov

St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of RAS
Abstract: The approach is based on using of the known situation-event formalism of an interacting hybrid processes specification. A short description of the formalism is set out. Some advantages of its using for dynamic systems computer implementation are pointed out and its abilities for processes coordination are discussed. Hybrid processes coordination methods based on it and peculiarities of their usage are reviewed. Instances of automatic coordination systems which illustrate some methods usage are given.
Keywords: hybrid automaton, automatic control, automatic coordination, computer simulation.
