On thermomagnetic pressure difference effect and Scott effect
L. A. Pal'tsev Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute
Abstract:
The thermomagnetic pressure difference effect and the Scott effect are considered on the account for nonlinear temperature stresses. Shear nonlinear temperature stress coefficients for gas of linear diamagnetic molecules are defined as a function of the magnetic field frequency. Shear and bulk temperature stress coefficients for polyatomic gas in absence of the magnetic field are obtained.
