A simple model for investigating the chiral condensate behavior at finite temperatures on a lattice with maximal anisotropy

Abstract:
We evaluate the fermionic determinant in a simple lattice model of quantum chromodynamics. We analyze the behavior of the chiral condensate in the domains of asymptotically large $(m\gg T)$ and asymptotically small $(m\ll T)$ quark masses.
