Multifield cosmology from string field theory: An exactly solvable approximation

Abstract: We consider the appearance of multiple scalar fields in string field theory-based nonlocal models with a single scalar field at large times. In this regime, all the scalar fields are free. This system minimally coupled to gravity can be analyzed approximately or numerically. We construct an exactly solvable model that has an exact solution in the cosmological scenario with the Friedmann metric and restores the asymptotic behavior expected from string field theory. We consider different applications of such a potential to multifield cosmological models.
