Abstract:
A new parametrization is proposed for nonsinglet structure functions of deep inelastic scattering (for the nonsinglet quark distributions in the nucleon). In contrast to known parametrizations, the new one is consistent with the theoretical predictions of asymptotically free theories and, therefore, is suitable for comparing QCD with experiments.
