Potentials that admit solution of the one-dimensional time-independent Schrödinger equation in terms of known functions

Abstract:
It is shown that thereexist only two five-parameter potentials that admit solution of the Schrödinger equation in hypergeometric functions. An analysis establishes the connection between these potentials and ones known in the literature.
