Abstract:
A bosonization of the Hamiltonian formulation of QCD2 in the Coulomb
gauge is obtained for a bounded space and corresponding periodic boundary conditions. The formalism is applied to the problem of the QCD2 vacuum in the framework of the variational approximation.
