Relaxation of nonlinear oscillator

V. N. Pavlovich
References:
Abstract: A physical system with a finite number of levels that interacts with a thermal reservoir and with an external harmonic force is considered. With allowance for transitions only between neighboring levels and with averaging over the fast oscillations, it is possible to obtain closed equations for the diagonal elements of the density matrix and a solution of them in the stationary case.
