Intensity of superradiant generation in two-level systems

Abstract: A kinetic equation obtained in earlier work [1] is used to investigate the time dependence of the radiation intensity in a macroscopic two-level system with allowance for inhomogeneous Lorentz broadening. It is shown that the presence of such broadening accelerates the falloff of the intensity after the maximum has been passed.
