Some consequences of Wu's infrared regularization in scalar $\operatorname{QCD}_2$

Abstract: Wu's method of infrared regularization is used to study scalar $\operatorname{QCD}_2$ in the $1/N$ approximation. An expression is obtained for the quark propagator. It is shown that in the case of zero quark masses the theory contains massless mesons. It is shown that this regularization is gauge invariant in the leading order of the $1/N$ expansion.
