Density of states near the fluctuation boundary of the spectrum of one-dimensional incommensurable structures

It is shown that in one-dimensional incommensurable models the singularity of the density of states at the fluctuation boundary of the spectrum is, as a rule, a power singularity, in contrast to the exponential singularity characteristic of the disordered analogs of these models.
