Electrically neutral fields of vector mesons and limiting matter densities in collapsing systems
V. A. Berezin, M. A. Markov
Abstract:
Electrically neutral vector meson fields ($\mu$: $\rho$, $\varphi$, $\omega$) stop the contraction of collapsing systems at a radius of $r\sim\hbar/m_\mu c$. However, for very small dimensions of the collapsing systems, the matter density remains many orders of magnitude lower than the so-called quantum density $\rho_q\sim 10^{93}\,g/cm^3$ at which quantum effects invalidate a treatment of the phenomenon based on classical physics.
