Abstract:
An expression is obtained for the impurity conductivity in a very rarefied system of impurities.
This is based on a model which takes into account the overlapping of the wave functions
of electrons that belong to different atoms and also the random reduction in the impurity
potential due to the polarization of randomly distributed atoms. It is shown that in this case
the conductivity does not vanish even at T=0.
