Model of a hybrid crystal

V. I. Yukalov
References:
Abstract: An additional physical interpretation is given of the previously proposed [1] model of a hybrid crystal, and the equations describing it are solved. The mean energies and probabilities of phase formation are found and it is shown that there is a solid-liquid phase transition. The spectrum of collective excitations is determined and an explanation of the anomaly in the specific heat of solid helium is proposed.
