Adiabatic definition of the $S$-matrix when infrared divergences are present

Yu. S. Tyupkin
References:
Abstract: A definition is proposed for the (renormalized) $S$-matrix for theories with infrared divergences; it is based on the adiabatic switehing-onandswitching-offofthe interaction. It is established that the proposed definition is equivalent to the usual definition.
