Abstract:
On the basis of the non-yon Neumann representations of the group SL(2,C) corresponding to complex spin values, the concept of a field with complex spin is introduced, and equations for such fields are derived. On the basis of symmetry requirements the most symmetric equations corresponding to fields propagating with the velocity of light are established. In the scheme, these fields describe a new form of matter, which is called pra-matter. A postulate is adopted according to which elementary particles arise as a result of fusion of the pra-matter fields.
