Quantum theory of a restricted class of motions of a relativistic string

G. P. Pron'ko, A. V. Razumov
References:
Abstract: A model obtained by freezing an infinite number of degrees of freedom of a relativistic string is considered. The system is quantized and it is shown that the model has a rich spectrum of states and nonlinear Regge trajectories. Relativistic invariance of the obtained quantum system is proved. A comparison is made with the covariant method of quantization of a relativistic string.
