Abstract:
Generalized transport relations for fluids are obtained by means of the nonequilibrium distribution function method. In the derivation, a canonical transformation is employed to make a transition to a locally eomoving frame, and this makes it possible to separate the macroscopic motions of the medium from the thermal motion of the particles, which determines the dissipative processes. All the initial and final relations are represented in covariant form. Generalized Green–Kubo expressions are obtained for the transport coefficients, which depend on the macroscopic parameters and, in particular, on the motion of the local frame of reference.
