On the possibility of conformal infrared asymptotic behavior in non-Abelian Yang–Mills theory
A. N. Vasil'ev, M. M. Perekalin, Yu. M. Pis'mak Leningrad State University
Abstract:
The possibility of realization of a eonformally invariant infrared asymptotic behavior
in non-Abelian Yang–Mills theory is discussed. It is shown in the framework of the
coaformal bootstrap method that the assumption of exact conformal invariance
contradicts transversality of the polarization operator, i.e. the Ward identities,
but one can nevertheless attempt to use conformat theory as an approximate solution of the bootstrap self-coasisteacy equations.
