Quantum-field renormalization group in the theory of developed turbulence: Consideration of anisotropy and passive scalar admixtures
T. L. Kim, A. V. Serdyukov Saint-Petersburg State University
Abstract:
The $d$-dimensional model of fully developed homogeneous anisotropic turbulence is studied by quantum-field renormalization group method. The generalization of model on systems with scalar passive admixture was also considered. It is shown that in the case of weak anisotropy the fixed point of isotropic model remains stable for $d>2.68$ and Kolmogorov's scaling law is preserved. The corrections to Prandtl number was found.
