Abstract: A problem of anomaly at generalized canonical quantization of the bosonic string interacting with background fields of graviton and antisymmetric tensor is considered. Equation for anomaly operator symbol is obtained. A solution of this equation is found and the general form of anomaly operator admissible by quantization procedure is established.
