Abstract: Service applications in distributed file systems should increase the speed of processing and provide fault tolerance. The job must be divided into parts suitable for parallel processing to increase the speed. Furthermore, special mechanisms for job recovery after different types of fails are required to achieve fault tolerance. This work is devoted to alternate solutions of the two problems in question.
