Pecialized software model to simulate data transfer in transport level with the congestion control algorithm

Abstract:
This paper considers the main approaches to the assessment of efficiency transport layer protocols in modern information and telecommunication systems that implement the congestion control mechanism. The analysis of existing modeling tools for transport layer protocols was carried out, based on which it was concluded that it is impossible to fully take into account the peculiarities of simulation process data. The paper illustrates the main steps of development of the specialized software model in the .NET Framework. The paper proves the value of the sales model based on comparison of the resulting simulation results with existing estimates data rate at the transport layer using the TCP protocol.
