Collection of personalia

The paper considers digital collections of biographical information. It provides a review of their current state, problems and perspectives. Collection of Personalia is defined as a special kind of biographic resource. Different scenarios of biographical research (including group research in prosopography and genealogy) are examined. Efficiency of the research depends on characteristics of collection in use. The paper gives analysis of these characteristics.
