Sharp estimates for the mean-square approximations of convolution classes by shift spaces on the axis

Abstract:
We describe all spaces that are generated by the equidistant shifts of a single function and realizing the sharp constants in various inequalities for the approximations of convolution classes on the real axis. Moreover, we find the average widths of the approximated function classes and provide the examples of extremal approximating subspaces.
