Abstract: We study the restrictions of infinitesimally irreducible modular representations of algebraic groups of type $A_n$ to subsystem subgroups of type $A_1\times A_1$. Under some restrictions on the highest weight of a representation we find their composition factors.
Keywords: special linear group, representation, restriction to a subgroup.
