Elliptic solutions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the modified Korteweg–de Vries equation

Abstract:
Two Ansätze concerning Krichever curves are considered for solutions elliptic in $x$ of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the Korteweg–de Vries equation. An example is given of a new two-gap elliptic solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation.
