Limit theorems for decomposable critical branching processes

Abstract:
A time-homogeneous branching process with decomposable matrix of first moments of the number of particles is considered. In the critical case the limiting distribution of the number of particles is obtained under the condition that the process has not died out. Limiting distributions are also found for such processes starting with a large number of particles.
