Characteristics of the flow of an incompressible fluid in a gravitational field
M. V. Fedoryuk
Abstract:
Two- and three-dimensional problems of the motion of an incompressible fluid of variable density in a gravitational field are considered. Integrodifferential equations for the characteristics are obtained, and the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the Cauchy problem in finite time is proved in the two-dimensional case and in infinite time in the three-dimensional case.
