Sinphase-weighted median filter: evaluation of weights and processing of a harmonic signal

We introduce the notion of the Sinphase-Weighted Median Filter which belongs to a class of weighted percentile filters, and consider specification of them under conditions of processing a harmonic signal. We offer the algorithm of computing the weights of such filter and get the estimation of its response on the sine function. Achieved inferences are confirmed by results of numerical statistical modeling.
