Abstract:
A model of power shortage evaluation of electric power systems with quadratic losses of power in power lines is studied. This model is intended for the analysis of reliability problems of electric power systems. The way of presentation of this model in the form of a convex problem is shown. The interior point algorithm is proposed for the model realization. This algorithm takes into account the quadratic approximations of constraints functions. The results of the experimental study are presented.
