On one approach to an inverse problem solution for a hyperbolic equation

V. G. Romanov

Abstract: The problem of determining a coefficient under the lower term of a hyperbolic equation is considered. A suitable residual functional is proposed to use for a numerical solution to this problem. A given algorithm allows to estimate an accuracy of an approximate solution on every step of the minimization procedure.
