Simultaneous use of node and vector finite elements for computing three-dimensional nonstationary electromagnetic fields

Yu. G. Soloveichik, M. É. Royak

Abstract: We consider a computational scheme, based on the simultaneous use of vector and scalar finite elements, which enables us to model electromagnetic fields taking into account the vortex currents in the conducting objects. Using the example of a solution of a model problem, we demonstrate the efficiency of the approach proposed.
