Optimization of the shape toroidal hydroturbine draft tube

Abstract:
A technique is proposed for generating a set of surfaces of a toroidal draft
tube of a hydraulic turbine, depending on 19 geometric parameters and constructing grids in its region to find the optimal shape based on numerical simulation of flows.
