Probability theory and mathematical statistics

On exponential inequalities for V-statistics with unbounded kernels

Abstract: Exponential inequalities for V-statistics are obtained under weaker conditions than that in known results for canonical V-statistics (see Borisov (1991)). In particular, the observations independence condition is weakened and the new inequalities do not require the existence of a factorizable majorant for the kernel.
Keywords: von Mises' statistic, exponential inequality.
