Hydraulic jump in an inclined channels

K. N. Gavrilova

M. A. Lavrent'ev Institute of Hydrodynamics
References:
Abstract: The structure of hydraulic jump in an inclined channel is considered within the framework of various models of shallow water theory. Stationary undular and turbulent bores are constructed. Joint influence of dispersion and mixing effects on the form of hydraulic jump is investigated. Dependence of wave front position in inclined channel on the height of obstacle is found.
Keywords: equations of shallow-water theory, homogeneous liquid, hydraulic jump, hyperbolic model with dispersion.
