Abstract: The advances in the extraction of boron-containing substances from waste waters and natural brines are examined and surveyed. The current prospects for the solution of the problem of creating an environmentally safe technology for the purification of industrial liquid waste with recovery of valuable components are described. The results of studies on the problem, obtained under experimental and industrial conditions, are discussed. The bibliography includes 78 references.
