Fluorine-containing aromatic amino acids

Abstract: Methods of preparing the following fluorine-containing aromatic amino acids are reviewed: racemic and optically active phenylalanine and tyrosine derivatives with fluorine atoms or fluoroalkyl groups in the benzene ring or in the side chain. Possible bio-medical applications of these compounds are examined. The bibliography includes 100 references.
