Abstract:
The methods of synthesis, application, and mechanisms of the biological action of α- and β-amino acids containing an acetylene residue in the molecule that gives rise to the specific ability of these compounds to deactivate irreversibly certain enzymes are reviewed. The bibliography includes 96 references.
