Abstract: This review is concerned with the dehydrohalogenation of halogen-containing polymers as a method of obtaining polymers with a system of conjugated multiple bonds. Different dehydrohalogenating agents are described and the mechanism, kinetics and structure of the reaction products are examined. The bibliography includes 159 references.
