Abstract: The latest advances in the study of the solubility of oxygen in water and in electrolyte solutions and of the influence of temperature and pressure on the solubility of oxygen are presented and surveyed. Advances in the development of experimental methods for the study of the solubility of oxygen are examined. The experimental results from studies of the influence of temperature and electrolyte concentration on the solubility of oxygen and their thermodynamic and molecular-statistical interpretation are described.
