X-Ray diffraction studies on electron density in organic crystals

The review presents the advances in precision X-ray diffraction studies on electron density in organic crystals carried out during the last several years. The methods for the elimination of and allowance for experimental errors, procedures used to interpret the results, and the characteristic features of the distributions of the deformation electron density in organic molecules are discussed.
