Abstract: Results of recent investigations in the area of sulphenic acid amides have been systematised and correlated in the review. Reactions of sulphenamides occurring with the generation of anions, radicals and nitrenes have been considered, as well as reactions accompanied by fussion of the S–N bond and oxidation of the sulphur atom.
The bibliography contains 95 references.
