Abstract: Aerosol methods for the chemical synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes are considered. Characteristic features and advantages of these methods are indicated. The possibility of controlling the growth and vapour deposition processes of single-walled nanotubes are discussed. It is shown that nanotubes prepared by aerosol synthesis can be directly used in various fields of technology. The bibliography includes 171 references.
