Abstract: Data on the methods of synthesis and antituberculosis activities of pyrimidine nucleoside derivatives and their analogues are summarized. A number of enzymes, promising targets for the prototypes of a new generation of drugs, are considered. The nucleosides able to inhibit drug-resistant strains of M. tuberculosis are characterized.
The bibliography includes 102 references.
