Abstract: Data on the effect of a wide diversity of phenol-type inhibitors including their organoelement derivatives on the radical polymerization of vinyl monomers are analyzed. The prospects of using classical inhibitors and their derivatives in the controlled synthesis of macromolecules under radical initiation and metal-complex catalysis conditions are assessed.
