I. I. Moiseev Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), Moscow
Abstract:
Examples of using green chemistry techniques in heavy organic synthesis are given. The list of compounds that can be produced by biomass processing and the selection criteria of the most promising products are considered. State-of-the-art data on the production and subsequent processing of ethanol are presented. The scopes of applicability of fatty acid triglycerides, glycerol, succinic acid and isoprene are briefly discussed.
