Abstract:
Published data dealing with the unique material composed of carbon nanotubes aligned at right angle to the surface — the forest — are analyzed and generalized. The morphology, the volumetric and surface density of the forest, methods for forest preparation and modification, the properties and potential applications of the forest are considered.
