Abstract:
Methods for preparation of metal nanoparticles and metal/polymer nanocomposites, in particular, ion exchange materials are considered. The effect of the nanoparticle composition and size on the catalytic activity is analyzed. The attention is concentrated on composites that are used in catalytic processes — catalytic membranes and ion exchange systems. The problems of removal of dissolved oxygen from water using these composites are discussed.
